Community Challenge
To empower young people to collaboratively transform a public space through mural art and garden restoration, building confidence, social connection, and a sense of pride in place. The project provides meaningful opportunities for youth to lead, create, learn new skills, and contribute visibly to their community in a positive and lasting way.
How This Project Works
The Youth Mural & Garden Revitalisation Project is designed to be inclusive, equitable and welcoming for young people aged 12-25. Participation is free, no prior skills are required, and every participant is supported to contribute in a way that feels safe and meaningful to them.
The project is supported by a local artist to help design and create the mural along with support from Youth Workers to design and revilalise the garden area for long-term sustainability.
