How This Project Works
The Wandering Teapot Cafe uses a resource-wise and strengths-based approach to providing a cafe, but also a training facility for young people to complete a Certificate II in Hospitality and gain valuable industry experience.
Summary
The Wandering Teapot Cafe aims to support young people with hospitality work placements, study support, employability skills, hands on workplace experience and employment opportunities to clients in the hospitality industry. This program creates opportunities for young people to be involved in menu planning, food preparation, customer service, cleaning tasks as well as point of sale. Finally, The Wandering Teapot Social Enterprise encourages and support volunteers to hone their hospitality skills.
