Social Issue/Problem
The Cook Club is a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing program that will engage participants in the Bundaberg region to cook nutritious, affordable meals at home, as well as offering national food safety training, including Food Safety Supervisor courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Solution
The Cook Club will be delivered at Neighbourhood Centres, community halls, and kitchens with participants meeting once per month as a group to learn new cooking techniques and collaborate. After the meeting, participants will cook the next month’s dish independently at home with their new skills, before coming together again the following month to review and share progress.
Outcome
Outcomes will be delivered in 2026.
