Increasing DFV in the Hinkler region and lack of knowledge and awareness around healthy relationships and recognising signs of DFV
Solution
Interactive Healthy Relationship Workshops designed to educate and empower young women 13-25 years old about healthy relationships, how to recognise red flags of domestic violence and coercive control and awareness of supports available and how to access them. Workshops include 2 sessions including Building Healthy Foundations and Breaking the Cycle.
Outcome
13 workshops were held for 99 participating with 88% of attendees increasing in knowledge around unhealthy relationships, 77% intending to share knowledge gained with others and 68% reporting they would use the resources provided.
