The amount of people experiencing homelessness in Hervey Bay has increased dramatically in the last 3 years due to high rent increases and lack of affordable housing options. There is further a lack of free basic meals, showers and laundry facilities available to help people experiencing homelessness maintain dignity, hygiene and wellbeing.

The program will deliver the combined Community Connect Breakfast Program and the Sunshine Van (providing hot shower and laundry facilities) 3 days per week in Hervey Bay providing food and hygiene relief to those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
